Apollo Hospitals Q1 PAT up 38.4% at Rs 610.4 cr

New Delhi: Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd on Wednesday reported a 38.4 per cent rise in consolidated profit after tax at Rs 610.4 crore in the first quarter ended June.
The company had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 441 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal, Apollo Hospitals said in a regulatory filing. Consolidated revenue from operations in the first quarter stood at Rs 7,043.5 crore as against Rs 5,842.1 crore in the year-ago period, it added.
Total expenses in the quarter under review stood higher at Rs 6,306.9 crore, compared to Rs 5,313.2 crore in the same period a year ago, the company said.
Healthcare services revenue stood at Rs 3,619.5 crore in the first quarter, up from Rs 2,973.8 crore in the year-ago period, while revenue from digital health and pharmacy distribution increased to Rs 2,977 crore from Rs 2,471.9 crore in the year-ago period, it added.
The retail health and diagnostics segment clocked a revenue of Rs 499.5 crore, compared to Rs 435.1 crore in the same quarter of the preceding fiscal, the company said.
