New Delhi: Leading textile manufacturer Arvind Ltd on Wednesday reported a 5.6 per cent increase in its consolidated net profit to Rs 57.77 crore for the June quarter of FY27 compared to Rs 54.70 crore in the year-ago quarter.

Its revenue from operations was up 24.65 per cent to Rs 2,500.96 crore during the June quarter compared to Rs 2,006.32 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year, according to a regulatory filing from Arvind Ltd.

“The quarter witnessed healthy volume momentum across all core textile businesses, supported by robust demand conditions, higher vertical integration and continued investment in product innovation,” said Arvind in its earnings statement.

Its revenue from the textiles segment was Rs 1,862.36 crore, up 21.25 per cent in the June quarter.

In the June quarter, Arvind’s denim fabric volumes reached 17.5 million metres, the highest level in the last 16 quarters, registering a 34 per cent growth, driven by higher verticalization.

Woven fabric volumes stood at 31.2 million metres, up 7 per cent despite the seasonally weaker quarter, reflecting sustained demand, it added.

Garmenting volumes crossed 11 million pieces for the first time, recording a 13 per cent growth, supported by higher verticalization.

Similarly, revenue from Advanced Materials was at Rs 649.75 crore, up 85 per cent.

Arvind’s total expenses in the June quarter were at Rs 240821 crore, up 24.18 per cent. Total revenue of Arvind, which includes other revenue, was at Rs 2,518.80 crore, up 25 per cent in the first quarter of FY27.

The company, in its earnings statement, said Q1 performance was characterised by evolving geo-economic developments, reconfiguration of global trade channels, and elevated input costs across key raw material categories in the business.

“The operating environment remained dynamic as shifting logistics patterns and developments in the Middle East continued to influence sourcing and procurement economics. Despite these external variables, robust demand across our core businesses, coupled with the inherent strength of our diversified portfolio, enabled us to deliver strong growth in line with our guidance,” it said.

Shares of Arvind Ltd on Tuesday settled at Rs 564.50 on BSE, down 0.56 per cent from the previous close.
