Ashok Leyland Sales Jump 25 PC to 19,194 Units in June

Mumbai: Commercial vehicle maker Ashok Leyland’s total vehicle sales, including exports, jumped 25 per cent to 19,194 units in June 2026 compared to 15,333 vehicles sold in the corresponding month of last year, the company said on Wednesday.

Total medium and heavy commercial vehicle sales grew 24 per cent to 12,156 units during the reporting month as against 9,829 vehicles in May 2025, while light commercial vehicle sales were up 28 per cent year-on-year at 7,038 units, the company said.

In the total M&HCV sales for the previous month, truck sales logged 44 per cent growth year-on-year at 9,616 units, while bus sales declined 20 per cent to 2,540 units from 3,172 buses in June 2025, Ashok Leyland said.

Total domestic sales for June stood at 17,912 vehicles, rising 26 per cent year-on-year from 14,184 units, it said.
