Nasdaq and S&P 500 gained yesterday, while Dow Jones declined. Nasdaq closed the day, yesterday, 3rd November, 2025, up by 109.77 points or 0.46%. S&P 500 closed the day, up by 11.77 points or 0.17%. Dow Jones closed the day, down by 226.19 points or 0.48%.

Amazon shares gained 4% to close at $254. This, after OpenAI signed a $38 billion, 7-year deal to buy cloud computing power from Amazon Web Services (AWS).

European markets gained yesterday. Euro Stoxx 50 ended the day, up by 17.21 points or 0.30%. Dax ended the day, up by 174.11 points or 0.73%. FTSE 100 saw some profit booking at the high levels at which it is currently hovering. It closed the day, down by 15.88 points or 0.16%.

Asian markets in red today

Nikkei is also seeing some profit booking today. At 8:22 a.m. 4th November, 2025, it is down by 50.20 points or 0.096%. Hang Seng index is down by 10.04 points or 0.038%. Shanghai index is down by 10.43 points or 0.26%. South Korean Kospi is down by 73.03 points or 1.73%.

Titan result beats expectations

Indian equity markets ended the day in green yesterday. Markets may see further upside today. Titan’s September quarter result beat market expectations. Bharti Airtel also posted good numbers on the back of higher data demand.

Vodafone Idea shares may see further price movement today

Vodafone Idea shares may continue to see price movement today. This, after Supreme Court yesterday allowed the review of the entire AGR dues of the company. The entire AGR dues of Vodafone Idea amount to around Rs 84,000 crore. The earlier order of the court was limited to AGR dues up to FY19. The order is expected to bring major relief to the company. The government also favored this review in the court.

India’s manufacturing also increased in October. This because of increased demand in the month due to lower GST rates. HSBC India Manufacturing index stood at 59.2 in the month.
