Asian markets seeing heavy selling at the start of day today

US equity markets ended the day in red, yesterday, 15th December, 2025. Nasdaq ended the day, down by 137.76 points or 0.59%. Dow Jones ended the day, down by 41.49 points or 0.086%. S&P 500 ended the day, down by 10.90 points or 0.16%.

European markets ended strongly in green, yesterday

European markets ended the day in green, yesterday. Hopes of a ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia increased after a round of negotiations between Ukraine, EU and USA. Euro Stoxx 50 ended the day, up by 31.81 points or 0.56%. Dax ended the day, up by 43.42 points or 0.18%. FTSE 100 closed, up by 102.28 points or 1.06%. Stocks in FTSE 100 gained on the expectation of a rate cut by Bank of England later this week.

Asian markets start the day in red today

Nikkei 225 is in red today. At 8:50 a.m. 16th December, 2025, Nikkei 225 is down by 644.5 points or 1.28%. Hang Seng is down by 443.74 points or 1.73%. Shanghai composite is down by 43.84 points or 1.13%. Kospi is down by 71.81 points or 1.76%.

India’s November exports jump by 19%

Indian equity markets are getting some positive cues from domestic macroeconomic front, today. India’s exports in November increased year-on-year by 19% to around $38 billion. This is the highest level of exports in any November in the past 10 years. Government has said that signing of a trade framework with US may come soon. Negotiations are also progressing on an FTA between India and EU.
