Asians markets begin the day in green; OPEC+ to not increase production in first 3 months of 2026

US equity markets ended the day in green on Friday, 31st October, 2025. Nasdaq ended the day, up by 143.81 points or 0.61%. Dow Jones ended the day, up by 40.75 points or 0.086%. S&P 500 ended the day, up by 17.86 points or 0.26%. Amazon’s stock ended the day, up by 9.58% at $244.58. But many other technology stocks declined. Nvidia ended the day, down by 0.16% at $202.49. Microsoft shares were down by 1.51% at $517.81.
European markets also ended the day in red on Friday. Euro Stoxx 50 ended the day, down by 37.14 points or 0.65%. Dax was down by 160.59 points or 0.67%. FTSE 100 closed, down by 42.81 points or 0.44%.
Asian markets gaining today
Asian markets are gaining today. Japanese markets are closed today because of Culture Day holiday. At 8:30 a.m. IST, 3rd November, 2025, Hang Seng is up by 142.67 points or 0.55%. South Korean Kospi is up by 85.02 points or 2.07%. Shanghai Composite index is up by 5.28 points or 0.13%.
Indian equity markets may see a day in red
Indian equity markets may see a day in red today. Vodafone Idea shares may see price movement on the report that a US private equity firm is considering buying a majority stake in the company. But this stake buy may happen on the condition that the Indian government provides guarantee for all the existing liabilities of the company.
OPEC+ to not increase production in the first 3 months of 2026
Oil prices increased after OPEC+ announced that it will increase its production by only 137,000 barrels per day in December. It also said that it will not increase its production in the first three months of 2026. At this time, WTI crude for December delivery is trading at $61.26 per barrel. Brent crude is trading at $65.08 per barrel.
