Mumbai, September 5, 2025: The SME IPO of Austere Systems Limited recorded a massive surge in subscription on its third day of bidding. The rally is led by retail and non-institutional investors (NIIs) who are crowding the book. As of September 05, 2025, 01:35 PM, the subscription has been oversubscribed 47.90 times, making it one of the most sought-after SME offerings of the year so far.

Retail Bids Soar 68.62x, NII Follow at 58.08x

On the third day of subscription to the Austere Systems SME IPO, retail investors have emerged as the driving force. They have bid 68.62 times the actual shares offered so far, closely followed by Non-Institutional Buyers (NII) with 58.08 times oversubscription. Under the NII category, sNII (bids below ₹10L) led the rally with 67.34 times subscription, followed by bNII (bids above ₹10L) with 53.45 times subscription. However, the response to the IPO has been lukewarm by the QIB (Ex-Anchor) category, with only 3.67 times subscription, as Anchor Investors and Market Makers stay in the middle, subscribing just to their offered limit.

₹15 Cr IPO with 0.28 Cr Shares Priced ₹52-₹55

Austere Systems IPO is worth ₹15 crore with an entirely fresh issue of 0.28 crore shares. The IPO is a book-building issue with the price band set at ₹52–₹55 per share, with the lot size set at 2,000 shares. The minimum subscription requirement for the IPO is ₹2,20,000.00 (4,000 shares) (based on upper price) for retail investors, and three lots (6,000 shares), amounting to ₹3,30,000 for HNI (High Net-worth Individual). The IPO was opened for subscription on September 03, 2025, and will close on September 08, 2025. The listing of the IPO is scheduled for September 11, 2025, on the BSE SME platform.

Anchor Investors Pump ₹4.40 Cr Before Public Subscription

Prior to opening the IPO to the public for subscription, the company raised ₹4.40 crore on September 2, 2025. The money was raised by allotting 8,00,000 shares at ₹55 each to anchor investors, which included Aarth AIF Growth Fund, Beacon Stone Capital, Finavenue Growth Fund, and Rajasthan Global Securities.

Austere Systems’ SME IPO has seen extraordinary retail and NII participation, driving a 47.90x oversubscription by day three. The IPO, priced at ₹52–₹55 per share, reflects strong engagement across categories, while anchor investments provided initial momentum.
