Avantel Bags Rs 118 Crore DRDO Contract for Ground Segment Hub

New Delhi: Technology solutions provider Avantel has secured a contract worth Rs 117.88 crore from the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) for the development of a ground segment hub.
The contract, awarded by Ministry of Defence, involves the development, installation, and commissioning of a ground segment hub for voice and data communication, the company said in a regulatory filing.
“The total value of the said contract is Rs 117.88 crore,” the Hyderabad-based company stated.
The project is scheduled to be executed by February 2029.
