New Delhi, November 4, 2025: Bansal Wire Industries Ltd (NSE: BANSALWIRE) announced its financial results for the quarter ended Q2FY26. The consolidated net profit of the company decreased by 4.3% year-on-year (YoY). The company’s profit also slipped by 2.4%. The fall was due to higher material and finance costs.

Bansal Wire Industries Ltd is a leading manufacturer of iron and steel wire products. It caters to the automotive, infrastructure, and engineering industries. The company has been listed on both NSE and BSE since July 10, 2024, under the tickers BANSALWIRE and 544209, respectively. The company operates through its wholly owned subsidiaries, Bansal Steel & Power Ltd and BWI Steel Pvt Ltd.

Financial Results

The company generated ₹10,554.00 million in revenue from operations during the quarter. This is a 27.8% YoY and 12.4% QoQ increase. The company’s total income also increased 27.8% YoY and 12.6% QoQ, reaching ₹10,602.06 million. However, the expenses were also on the rise, totalling ₹10,092.27million for the quarter – a 30.6% YoY and 13.2% QoQ increase. The rise in costs weighed on profitability, with profit before tax at ₹509.80 million, reflecting a 10.4% YoY decline but a 1.9% QoQ growth. Net profit after tax also fell, down 4.3% YoY and 2.4% QoQ, to ₹383.24 million for the quarter.

Half-Yearly Performance

The end of September was also the end of the first half of the financial year 2026. During H1FY26, the company generated revenue of ₹19,944.06 million from operations. This marked a 21.4% YoY increase. The company’s total income also increased by 21.5% YoY, reaching ₹20,018.35 million. Unlike quarterly results, the net profit increased despite an increase in total expenses. While total expenses reached ₹19,008.51 million, a 22.9% YoY increase, net profit increased by 8.4% reaching ₹776.03 million.

Balance Sheet Highlights

The company also disclosed its balance sheet as of September 30, 2025. The company’s total consolidated assets stood at ₹22,794.31 million. This was an increase compared to ₹21,677.91 million as of March 31, 2025. The total equity of the company also increased. It reached ₹13,467.50 million from ₹12,690.12 million. The rise was mostly because of the retained earnings. The total liabilities of the company stood at ₹9,326.81million, a rise from ₹8,987.79 million on March 31, 2025.

Market Performance

The share price of Bansal Wire Industries Limited closed at ₹308.30 as of November 04, 2025. This was a 4.57% or ₹14.75 fall from its previous close of ₹323.05. The intraday range was between ₹306.00 and ₹328.00. The company had a negative trading session today, with a total traded value and volume of ₹10.42 crore and 3.31 lakh shares, respectively. Further, the company’s total market capitalisation was at ₹4,826.62 crore.
