The two companies will jointly bid for this project in the coming weeks. ONGC’s shares are gaining after the company took over the share of Vedanta in a Cambay basin oil & gas field. This, after the government refused to extent Vedanta’s contract. Vedanta has challenged the government’s decision in Delhi High Court.
