Belrise Industries Lists at 11.11% Premium

Mumbai, May 28, 2025: Belrise Industries Ltd made a strong market debut, listing at ₹100 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), which reflects an 11.11% gain over the issue price of ₹90. On the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), shares opened at ₹98.50, registering a 9.44% premium.
The ₹2,150 crore initial public offering (IPO) garnered massive interest, receiving subscriptions 43.14 times more than the shares offered. The IPO was open for bidding from May 21 to May 23.
Subscription Breakdown
Out of 16.72 crore shares available, the IPO received bids for 721.33 crore shares. The Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) segment was oversubscribed 112.63 times, while the Non-Institutional Investors (NIIs) portion was booked 40.58 times. The retail investor segment also saw robust participation, subscribed 4.52 times.
Issue Structure
The Belrise Industries Ltd IPO consisted solely of a fresh issue of 23.89 crore shares, with no offer-for-sale component. Retail investors had to apply for a minimum of 166 shares, translating to an investment of ₹14,110.
The allocation structure was as follows:
- QIBs: Not less than 20%
- NIIs: Up to 15%
- Retail Investors: 35%
Utilisation of Funds
Of the total proceeds, approximately ₹1,618 crore will be utilised to repay or prepay outstanding borrowings, either fully or partially. The remaining funds are earmarked for general corporate purposes, aiding operational and strategic growth.
Lead Managers and Registrar
Axis Capital Limited, HSBC Securities & Capital Markets Pvt Ltd, Jefferies India Private Limited, and SBI Capital Markets Limited acted as the book running lead managers. MUFG Intime India Private Limited (Link Intime) has been appointed as the registrar.
