Mumbai, 19 Jan 2026: Bharat Coking Coal Ltd (BCCL) stock price had a strong debut on the stock exchange on Monday, listing at a premium of about 96% to the issue price after one of the most heavily subscribed public offerings in recent times. The company’s initial public offering (IPO), the first mainboard issue of 2026, attracted keen participation from investors in all categories.

Bharat Coki͏ng ͏Coal shares͏ ͏were listed͏ ͏at ₹45 pe͏r sha͏re ͏on t͏he National Stoc͏k͏ Exchange (͏NSE), marking a premium of 9͏5.65% ove͏r͏ ͏the upper end of the IPO price͏ ba͏nd of ₹21–₹23. ͏ On the BSE, Bharat Coking Coal shares listed at ₹45.21, which is a gain of 96.57% from its issue price of ₹23 in the IPO. It hit an intraday high of ₹45.21 and a low of Rs 40.17 in early trade. Post-listing͏, the company’s mar͏ket capitalisation͏ ͏st͏ood͏ at ₹21,054͏.30 crore.

Bharat Coking Coal IPO was a book build issue of ₹1,071.11 crores. The issue was entirely an offer for sale of 46.57 crore shares of ₹1,071.11 crore. The IPO opened for subscription on January 9, 2026, and closed on January 13, 2026. The allotment for the Bharat Coking Coal IPO was finalized on January 14, 2026. Bharat Coking Coal IPO price band was set at ₹21 to ₹23 per share. The lot size for an application was 600. The minimum amount of investment required by a retail investor was ₹13,800 (600 shares) (based on the upper price).
