Capri Global Capital Profit Doubles to Rs 353 Cr in Q1

New Delhi: Capri Global Capital Ltd has reported more than two-fold jump in consolidated profit to Rs 353 crore during the quarter ended June, helped by higher margins and better operating efficiencies.
The non-banking financial company (NBFC) had reported a profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 175 crore in the year-ago period.
Total income of the company rose to Rs 1,581 crore in the first quarter of the current fiscal year compared to Rs 1,005 crore in the year-ago period, the company said in a statement.
The NBFC’s interest income also increased to Rs 1,323 crore during the quarter under review from Rs 806 crore a year earlier.
Net interest income improved to Rs 736 crore compared to Rs 412 crore in the same quarter last year.
The NBFC’s consolidated assets under management (AUM) surged 62 per cent year-on-year to Rs 40,112 crore during the April-June period of FY27, led by robust growth in its retail loan especially gold loan and MSMEs, it added.
