New Delhi: Carlyle-backed Knack Global Ltd, which operates under the brand name Knack RCM, has filed preliminary papers with market regulator Sebi for an initial public offering (IPO) through the confidential route.

Under the confidential pre-filing route, companies are allowed to keep their draft offer documents out of the public domain until the regulatory review process reaches a more advanced stage.

As a result, details regarding the offer structure, financial performance, valuation and listing timeline are not available at this stage.

In a public notice on Thursday, the company said it has filed “the pre-filed draft red herring prospectus with Sebi and the stock exchanges… in relation to the proposed initial public offering of its equity shares on the main board of the stock exchanges”.

Knack RCM provides revenue cycle management and provider credentialing services to healthcare providers, with a focus on converting patient encounters into compliant reimbursement.

The company integrates provider credentialing and payer enrolment with revenue cycle operations to help ensure clinicians are appropriately credentialed, contracted and ready to bill. Its services are aimed at reducing avoidable claim denials, reimbursement delays and revenue leakage arising from enrolment gaps and credentialing issues.

Knack RCM focuses on segments, including durable medical equipment and home medical equipment (DME and HME), anaesthesia, multispecialty groups, independent physician practices, ambulatory care settings, and rural and community hospitals.

The company said these healthcare providers often have limited access to specialised revenue cycle management and credentialing support.

Knack RCM combines technology, domain expertise and operational capabilities to help healthcare providers improve billing and reimbursement processes, allowing them to focus on patient care.
