CG Power Q2 FY26 Profit Rises 29.5% YoY To ₹284.4 Crore; Revenue Up 21.1%

Mumbai, October 29, 2025 – CG Power and Industrial Solutions Limited (NSE: CGPOWER, BSE: 500093) enjoyed another quarter of strong growth as consolidated net profit grew 29.5% against the previous year to ₹284.44 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2025, up from ₹219.63 crore in Q2 FY25.
Revenue from operations increased 21.1% over the prior year to ₹2,922.79 crore, aided by increased execution of orders in the power systems and industrial segments.
Key Financial Highlights
The company registered 21.1% YoY growth in revenue from operations to ₹2,922.79 crore in Q2 FY26, and PAT grew 29.5% YoY to ₹284.44 crore. Total income increased 22.4% YoY and 2.8% QoQ, while PBT improved 32% YoY, showcasing strong performance and operational efficiency. EPS remained ₹1.82.
Six-Month Performance
For the first half of FY26, the company’s revenue from operations increased to ₹5,800.84 crore, up 25% year-on-year, while net profit grew 19.6% to ₹551.31 crore. Total income grew by 25.4%, supported by very robust order intake and disciplined execution, resulting in a higher EPS of ₹3.58.
Segment-Wise Performance And Expenses
The cost of material consumed increased by 22.1% year over year, to ₹2,002.03 crore (₹1,640.10 crore last year). The employee benefits expense rose by 60.9% year over year to ₹235.81 crore, reflecting annual increases and a larger workforce. The depreciation and amortization expense increased by 19.6% year over year to ₹52.05 crore. Overall expense grew by 21.1% year over year to ₹2,600.82 crore, also in line with revenue growth, allowing the company to maintain relatively stable operating margins.
