Cipla, Bajaj Finserv shares top gainers as markets saw broad-based gains in Muhurat Trading

Indian equity markets saw broad-based gains during Muhurat trading today, 21^st October. Nifty 50 ended the day, up by 25.45 points or 0.1%. Sensex ended the day, up by 0.56% or 474.16 points.

Top 3 gainers at Nifty 50 at the end of the day were Cipla, Bajaj Finserv and Infosys. Top 3 losers were Kotak Bank, ICICI Bank and Asian Paints.

All the broad market indices ended the day in green. Nifty Microcap 250 index was the top gainer among broad market indices. It ended the day, up by 1.03%. Realty stocks and PSU bank stocks saw some profit booking today. Nifty Realty index ended the day, down by 0.09%. Metal and media stocks saw some gains. Nifty Metal index ended the day, up by 0.40%. Nifty Media index, ended the day up by 0.56%.

2212 stocks gained at NSE today. 710 stocks declined. Market breadth was very positive today. Advance-to-decline ratio was of more than 3. 106 stocks touched 52-week high in just one hour of Muhurat trading. 36 stocks touched 52-week low.
