Mumbai, September 09: Waterways Leisure Tourism Limited, which operates Cordelia Cruises, has announced the October 23, 2026 launch of Cordelia Sky from Mumbai, expanding its cruise offerings across India and international destinations.
Cordelia Cruises said its new sailing programme will offer travellers a broader mix of short breaks and longer holidays, with itineraries covering destinations such as Goa and Lakshadweep.
The schedule includes 2-night weekend cruises from Mumbai, 3-night Goa cruises, 4-night Lakshadweep cruises and 5-night Goa and Lakshadweep journeys. The company will also operate 7-night Southeast Asia sailings from Chennai, covering destinations including Phuket, Langkawi, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.
The October 23 departure will mark the start of Cordelia Sky’s inaugural India season and the next stage of the cruise operator’s fleet expansion.

At 258 metres long and with a gross tonnage of 77,104 tonnes, Cordelia Sky can accommodate 2,004 guests at double occupancy across 1,002 staterooms.
The ship features 10 dining venues, a 930-seat Marquee Theatre, two pools, five hot tubs and more than 30,000 square feet of open deck space. The company also plans activities aimed at different age groups, including pickleball, swimming, gaming and supervised programmes for younger guests.
Dining options will include Indian, Asian and international cuisine, with vegetarian and Jain meals available across venues. Entertainment will include live music, performances, activities and games, with the Marquee Theatre planned to host a large-scale production show.
Cordelia Cruises Expands Its Holiday Network
Cordelia Cruises is positioning the new sailing programme around greater choice for Indian travellers, combining domestic destinations with international cruise routes.
The company said the expansion will give travellers more flexibility in choosing shorter weekend breaks as well as longer holidays. Its Southeast Asia programme from Chennai will connect Indian travellers with destinations across Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore.
Cordelia Sky is also expected to offer 11 Penthouse Suites and four Chairman’s Suites, alongside its other accommodation categories.
