Cyient Q2 FY26 Net Profit at ₹1,429 Million; Declares ₹16 Interim Dividend

Hyderabad, October 16, 2025 – Cyient Limited (NSE: CYIENT, BSE: 532175) announced its unaudited consolidated financials for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2025. Cyient reported a consolidated net profit of ₹1,429 million in Q2 FY26 compared with ₹1,866 million in the same quarter in the prior year. The Board also approved the payment of an interim dividend of ₹16 per equity share (320%) having a face value of ₹5.
Key Financial Highlights
In the quarter through September 30, 2025, Cyient Limited reported contract revenue of ₹17,810 million, which was weaker than the ₹17,118 million in Q1 FY26 and the ₹18,491 million in Q2 FY25, due to weak demand in certain engineering and technology verticals. Total income in the quarter was ₹18,310 million, compared with ₹17,815 million in Q1 FY26 and ₹19,002 million in Q2 FY25. Profit before tax in the quarter fell to ₹1,966 million from ₹2,136 million in the first quarter and ₹2,543 million in the year-previous quarter.
Net profit in Q2 FY26 was ₹1,429 million, compared with ₹1,574 million in Q1 FY26 and ₹1,866 million in Q2 FY25, translating into EPS of ₹11.55 compared with ₹13.95 in Q1 FY26 and ₹16.28 in the year-previous quarter. In H1 FY26, contract revenue rose to ₹34,928 million, total income to ₹36,125 million, and net profit to ₹3,003 million, all weaker than in H1 FY25.
Segment-Wise Performance
The Digital, Engineering & Technology (DET) segment, which generates the majority of the revenue, recorded revenue of ₹14,385 million, up from ₹13,925 million and ₹13,766 million in Q1 FY26 and Q2 FY25, respectively, primarily driven by the transport and communication businesses. The Design-Led Manufacturing (DLM) segment registered ₹3,107 million in revenue, which was up from ₹2,784 million in Q1 FY26 but down from ₹3,894 million in the year-earlier period, registering lower order volumes.
The Semiconductors segment contributed ₹542 million, and the Other segments ₹86 million. Overall, total segment revenue in Q2 FY26 attained ₹18,120 million compared with ₹17,255 million in Q1 FY26 and was virtually flat with ₹18,491 million in Q2 FY25. Half-year cumulative segment revenues attained ₹35,375 million, slightly up from H1 FY25.
Balance Sheet Highlights
Total assets were ₹79,221 million compared with ₹76,946 million at the close of business on March 31, 2025. Total equity stood at ₹60,327 million, with healthy net worth augmentation compared with ₹57,604 million in FY25. Cash and cash equivalents were healthy at ₹11,883 million, up from ₹10,706 million six months prior, and indicative of strong cash generation and prudent financial management.
The consolidated net worth increased to ₹60,327 million from ₹57,604 million at the close of business in March 2025, indicating healthy cash generation and prudent financial management.
Corporate Developments
