Mumbai, August 21: The Dhanwel Hybrid Seeds IPO was yet to reach full subscription on the final day of bidding, with the ₹26.73 crore issue subscribed 0.85 times as of 10:23 AM on Friday. Individual investors were the only category to have crossed the full-subscription mark, with their portion receiving bids for 1.71 times the shares reserved for them.
The issue had attracted bids for 21,79,200 shares against 25,63,200 shares available to the public. The total value of bids stood at ₹21.57 crore, based on the upper end of the IPO’s price band. A total of 945 applications had been recorded at the latest update.
The Dhanwel Hybrid Seeds IPO is entirely a fresh issue of 27,00,000 equity shares, with the company looking to raise up to ₹26.73 crore. The price band has been fixed at ₹95 to ₹99 per share. The IPO is listed as a bookbuilding issue and will be available for subscription until August 21.

The NII segment, on the other hand, remained largely inactive. Its overall subscription stood at just 0.01 times, with bids for 9,600 shares against an allocation of 12,67,200 shares. Within the segment, sNII investors had subscribed 0.32 times, while the bNII portion stood at 0.01 times.
The QIB (Ex-Anchor) portion had not received any bids at the time of the latest update. With the public issue at 0.85 times overall, the remaining hours of the final session will be crucial for the IPO to cross the full-subscription mark.

The IPO has seen a sharp improvement in individual investor participation since the opening day, although the overall book remains below full subscription.

About Dhanwel Hybrid Seeds Ltd.
Dhanwel Hybrid Seeds Limited, incorporated in 2018, is engaged in the production and supply of seeds for field crops and vegetables. The company develops and produces seeds by sourcing improved genetic material from recognised institutions, research organisations and the open market.
Its product range includes Groundnut Seeds, Soybean Seeds, Gram Seeds, Sesame Seeds, Wheat Seeds, Green Gram Seeds, Black Gram Seeds, Fenugreek Seeds and Cumin Seeds, among others.
The company works with selected seed-growing farmers under supervised arrangements. It supplies the required seed material and provides technical support while monitoring crop quality. Once harvested, the seeds are taken to the company’s facility in Jashapar, Jamnagar, where they undergo cleaning, grading, treatment and packing before being supplied to customers. Dhanwel Hybrid Seeds also sources seeds directly from farmers and the open market when required.
As of April 30, 2026, the company had 18 employees across its business functions, along with additional daily-wage workers engaged as required.
