Dhanwel Hybrid Seeds IPO crossed the full-subscription mark on the final day of bidding, with the ₹26.73 crore issue subscribed 1.65 times as of 5:04 PM on August 21. Individual investors remained the strongest participants at 3.08 times, while the NII portion was still at 0.24 times. The IPO closes today.

Mumbai, August 21: The Dhanwel Hybrid Seeds IPO has moved further into oversubscription on the last day of bidding, helped mainly by strong interest from individual investors. The ₹26.73 crore issue was subscribed 1.65 times as of 5:04 PM on August 21, while the NII portion continued to lag behind. The IPO closes for subscription today, August 21.
The issue had received bids for 42,34,800 shares against 25,63,200 shares available in the public portion. At the upper end of the price band, these bids were worth around ₹41.93 crore. The IPO had attracted 1,700 applications by the latest update.
Individual investors have driven most of the demand so far. Their portion was subscribed 3.08 times, with bids for 39,02,400 shares against 12,67,200 shares reserved for the category.
The NII segment has been much quieter. It stood at just 0.24 times, with bids received for 3,03,600 shares against 12,67,200 shares on offer. The QIB portion excluding anchor investors, meanwhile, reached 1.00 time.
Dhanwel Hybrid Seeds is a ₹26.73 crore bookbuilding issue, entirely comprising a fresh issue of 27 lakh shares. The price band has been fixed at ₹95 to ₹99 per share.

The QIB portion has just reached full subscription at 1.00 times. With individual investors continuing to account for the bulk of the bids, the final hours of the issue will decide how much further the overall subscription number moves.
Day-Wise Subscription Trend
Dhanwel Hybrid Seeds IPO had a fairly slow start, but the pace picked up considerably over the next two sessions. The overall subscription rose from just 0.09 times on Day 1 to 0.75 times on Day 2, before crossing the one-time mark on the final day.

The opening day was relatively quiet, with only 9% of the overall issue covered. Individual investor participation was also below the reserved quota at 0.16 times.
Things changed on Day 2. Individual investors pushed their category to 1.41 times, taking the overall subscription to 0.75 times.
By the final day, individual investor demand had more than doubled from the Day 1 level, reaching 3.08 times. QIB demand also picked up enough to cover its portion, helping take the overall issue to 1.65 times.
