Divi’s Laboratories has proposed a final dividend of ₹30 per share for FY26, with payment expected from August 14 if shareholders approve the proposal at the AGM.

Mumbai, July 13: Divi’s Laboratories Ltd. has proposed a final dividend of ₹30 per equity share of face value ₹2 for the financial year ended March 31, 2026, giving shareholders another healthy cash return after a year of strong operational performance.
The recommendation, made by the company’s board on May 23, 2026, will be placed before shareholders for approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting.
If approved, investors whose names appear in the register of members or as beneficial owners at the close of business on July 24, 2026, will be eligible for the dividend. The company said the payment will be made within 30 days of declaration, with dispatch expected on or after August 14, 2026, after applicable tax deductions.
While the AGM notice also includes procedural guidance for shareholders, the principal corporate action is the proposed dividend, which remains subject to shareholder consent.
Stock Market Snapshot
Divi’s Laboratories share price remained under mild pressure despite the dividend announcement.
The stock traded at ₹6,807.50, down ₹28.50 or 0.42%, as of 12:21 PM IST on July 13. Trading stayed largely range-bound through the session, indicating that investors were focused on broader market cues rather than the routine dividend proposal.
Dividend announcements by mature pharmaceutical companies such as Divi’s often attract limited immediate price reaction because regular payouts are already factored into market expectations. Unless the payout significantly exceeds historical levels or is accompanied by fresh business developments, the announcement tends to have only a modest impact on the stock.

Company Background

Conclusion
The proposed ₹30 per share final dividend now awaits shareholder approval at the AGM. If shareholders give their consent, eligible investors as of July 24, 2026 will receive the payout beginning August 14, 2026, completing Divi’s capital return for FY26.
