The Significance of Muhurat Trading
Muhurat Trading has been a tradition in the Indian stock market. The main aim for SEBI to conduct Muhurat Trading is to allow traders, investors and stock brokers to invest on Diwali day. It is believed that investments made during Muhurat Trading bring prosperity and wealth to the investors and signify their respect for the investing process. It also signifies the start of Samvat 2082 and investors invest symbolically rather than to make profits. In most previous Muhurat Trading sessions, the stock market has closed on a positive note, which will be the expectation on the 21st October.
