DMart (Avenue Supermarts) share price is down today, after the company declared its September quarter result on Saturday. At 12:15 p.m. today, 13th October, 2025, its share price is down by 1.75%, trading at Rs 4,245. Nifty 50 index is down by 0.35% at this time.

Profit up by 3.9% in September quarter

Avenue Supermarts’ consolidated profit in the September quarter increased year-on-year (y-o-y) by 3.9% to Rs 684.85 crore. Its revenue in the quarter increased y-o-y by 15.45% to Rs 16,676.30 crore. Total expenses of the company in the quarter increased y-o-y by 16% to Rs 15,751.08 crore.  Net profit margin of the company in the quarter stood at 4.1%. This means that for every Rs 100 sales that the company generated in the quarter, Rs 4.1 was left as profit for shareholders.

8 new stores opened in the quarter

The company opened 8 new stores in the September quarter. With this its total store count went up to 432. DMart runs a chain of discount supermarkets. Lower GST rates that came into effect on September 22nd are likely to benefit the company in the coming quarters. The company said that it has passed the full benefit of GST cuts to customers.

Stock has gained more than 19% this year

Year-to-date (YTD) in 2025, the stock of the company has gained 19.21%. Nifty 50 index has gained 6.12% in this period. The stock has outperformed the Nifty 50 index by over 13% this year. 52-week high price of the stock currently is Rs 4,949.50. 52- week low price of the stock is Rs 3,340.
