Mumbai, Aug 7: The final day of bidding for G.V. Electricals Ltd.’s ₹42.25 crore IPO has turned into a buying frenzy, with investors rushing to submit applications across categories. Backed by strong participation from high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), retail investors and qualified institutional buyers (QIBs), the SME issue had already sailed past 134 times subscription by the afternoon, with several hours of bidding still left.
The sharp jump in demand reflects the familiar last-day rush often seen in SME IPOs, where a significant portion of bids comes in during the closing session. Since applications remain open until the market closes today, the final subscription figures are expected to change further before bidding ends.
