What Investors Should Watch
Since this is only the opening day of the issue, subscription numbers are likely to change significantly over the next two trading sessions. Retail participation generally builds steadily through the day, while institutional investors often wait until the final session before placing large bids.
Market participants will therefore be closely watching whether demand gathers pace over the weekend and into the final day of bidding on August 11.
Conclusion
The Optimystix Entertainment India IPO has begun its subscription journey with a measured start, which is not unusual for SME offerings during the opening hours. While retail investors have contributed most of the early bids, overall subscription is expected to evolve over the remaining three trading sessions. Investors considering the issue will continue to monitor category-wise demand, particularly institutional participation, before the IPO closes on August 11.
