Gaja Alternative Asset Management IPO opened on August 19, with the issue subscribed 0.25x by 11:19:16 AM, led by retail participation at 0.38x.

Mumbai, August 19: Gaja Alternative Asset Management IPO opened for subscription on Wednesday, with the ₹550 crore issue drawing bids across retail and non-institutional investor categories during the first day of bidding. The IPO will remain open until August 21, 2026.
The bookbuilding issue has a price band of ₹152 to ₹160 per share. Investors can bid for a minimum of 93 shares in one lot, putting the minimum retail investment at ₹14,880 at the upper end of the price band.
As of 11:19:16 AM on August 19, the issue had received bids for 60,99,914 shares against 2,40,62,500 shares offered to public investors. The overall subscription stood at 0.25 times.
Gaja Alternative Asset Management IPO Day 1 Subscription Status
Retail investors accounted for the largest share of bids among the public categories during the opening session. Their portion was subscribed 0.38 times, while the NII segment stood at 0.30 times.
The QIB portion, excluding the anchor allocation, had received 7,812 bids against 68,75,000 shares at the time of the update.

Of the total issue, 50% of the shares are reserved for QIBs, 15% for NIIs and 35% for retail investors. The QIB allocation includes 30% of the total issue reserved for anchor investors, with the remaining 20% available to QIBs excluding the anchor portion.
JM Financial Ltd. is the book running lead manager for the issue, while MUFG Intime India Pvt. Ltd. is the registrar.
The subscription window will remain open for two more days following the Day 1 update. Bidding is scheduled to close on August 21, with the basis of allotment expected on August 24. Refunds and credit of shares are scheduled for August 25, followed by the proposed listing on NSE and BSE on August 26, 2026.
