Mumbai, September 29: German Green Steel IPO closed for subscription on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, after receiving bids for 46,54,09,340 shares against 1,53,04,318 shares offered to investors. The issue was subscribed 30.41 times overall as of 5:03 PM on Day 3.
The NII category recorded the highest subscription at 56.76 times, while the QIB (Ex Anchor) portion was subscribed 21.91 times. The retail portion received bids for 18,34,43,368 shares against 76,52,158 shares offered, resulting in a subscription of 23.97 times.
With the bidding process now closed, investors will next track the German Green Steel IPO allotment, which is scheduled for September 30, 2026.
German Green Steel IPO Subscription Status
The QIB (Ex Anchor) category received bids for 9,58,05,874 shares against 43,72,664 shares offered, resulting in a subscription of 21.91 times.
The NII category was subscribed 56.76 times, with bids for 18,61,60,098 shares against 32,79,496 shares available.
Within the NII segment, the bNII portion for applications above ₹10 lakh was subscribed 56.78 times, while the sNII portion for applications below ₹10 lakh was subscribed 56.73 times.
The retail portion received bids for 18,34,43,368 shares against 76,52,158 shares offered, translating into a subscription of 23.97 times.

German Green Steel IPO is a ₹303.90 crore book-built issue comprising a fresh issue of 2.09 crore shares aggregating to ₹290 crore and an offer for sale of 10 lakh shares aggregating to ₹13.90 crore.
The IPO carried a price band of ₹132 to ₹139 per share and a lot size of 107 shares. At the upper end of the price band, the minimum investment required for a retail investor was ₹14,873.
