Kolkata, November 4, 2025: Greenply Industries Ltd (NSE: GREENPLY, BSE: 526797) announced its financial results for the quarter ended Q2FY26. The consolidated revenue of the company increased by 7.5% year-on-year (YoY). The net company’s profit slipped by 9% YoY.

Key Financial Highlights

The company generated ₹688.60 crore in revenue from operations during the quarter. This is a 7.5% YoY and 14.6% QoQ increase. The company’s EBITDA, however, decreased by 1.5% YoY and 7.9% QoQ, totalling at ₹56.8 crore. Due to the decreased EBITDA, the profit before and after tax also decreased. Profit Before Tax only reached ₹23.30 crore, a 9.1% decrease YoY and a35.6% QoQ decrease. The net profit after tax decreased YoY by 9.0% and QoQ by 43.8%. It only totalled ₹16.00 crore for the quarter.

Segment-Wise Performance

Across all business segments, Greenply Industries reported revenue growth during the quarter. The plywood segment recorded revenue of ₹541.7 crore, marking a 5.4% year-on-year (YoY) increase. The MDF business delivered stronger growth, with revenue rising 15.9% YoY to ₹146.8 crore. The company’s Furniture Hardware joint venture, Greenply Samet, also reported revenue of ₹11.36 crore on a 100% basis.

Sales volume for the plywood business stood at 21.7 million sqm, reflecting a 7.2% YoY rise, while the MDF segment reported sales of 47,018 CBM, up 15.9% YoY. Despite the top-line growth, profitability remained under pressure. The plywood segment’s PAT declined 6.4% YoY to ₹25.9 crore, and the MDF division reported a loss of ₹4 crore for the quarter.

Shares of Greenply Industries Limited closed at ₹301.00 on November 4, 2025, marking a decline of 1.62% or ₹4.95 from the previous close of ₹305.95. During the trading session, the stock moved within an intraday range of ₹285.20 to ₹309.00, reflecting a volatile day of trade. The company witnessed a negative trading session, with a total market capitalisation of ₹3,758.91 crore. The total traded value stood at ₹10.45 crore, with a volume of 3.50 lakh shares exchanged on the exchanges.
