HDB Financial Services IPO To Open June 25

HDB Financial Services Ltd (HDBFS), a non-banking finance arm of HDFC Bank, is set to launch its highly anticipated Initial Public Offering (IPO) from June 25 to June 27, 2025. The price band for the HDB IPO will be announced on June 20, with anchor investor bidding scheduled for June 24.
IPO Structure and Details
The IPO comprises a fresh issue of ₹2,500 crore and an Offer for Sale (OFS) of ₹10,000 crore by parent company HDFC Bank. The issue also includes reserved portions for eligible HDFC Bank shareholders and HDBFS employees, as outlined in the Red Herring Prospectus filed on June 19, 2025.
- Listing Date: Tentatively scheduled for July 2, 2025, on BSE and NSE
- Allotment Finalization: Expected on June 30
- Refund Initiation and Demat Credit: On July 1
Company Overview and Financials
HDB Financial Services currently operates through 1,680 branches across India with a focus on retail and SME financing, particularly in vehicle loans and loans against property. As of March 31, 2025:
- Net Profit: ₹5.3 billion
- Net Revenue: ₹26.2 billion
- Total Loan Portfolio: ₹1.07 trillion
Before the IPO, HDFC Bank holds a 94.3% stake in HDBFS.
