HDFC AMC Q1 Profit Grows 12% to Rs 837 Cr

New Delhi: HDFC Asset Management Company (AMC) on Wednesday reported 12 per cent year-on-year jump in consolidated profit after tax at Rs 837.13 crore for the three months ended June 2026, driven by strong operational revenue.

The asset management firm had posted a profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 747.55 crore for the same quarter of the preceding fiscal.

Revenue from operations rose 13.6 per cent to Rs 1,099.72 crore during April-June FY27 from Rs 968.15 crore a year earlier, according to a stock exchange filing.

Total expenses grew to Rs 273.54 crore from Rs 215.48 crore in the year-ago period driven by an increase in employee benefit outlays to Rs 143.61 crore from Rs 109.23 crore.

HDFC AMC’s Assets Under Management (AUM) rose to Rs 9.35 lakh crore from Rs 8.3 lakh crore.

During the period ended June 30, 2026, the company paid a final dividend of Rs 54 per equity share for the year ended March 31, 2026 as approved by its shareholders at the Annual General Meeting held last month.

Following the results, shares of HDFC AMC settled 2.42 per cent higher at Rs 2,722.7 apiece on the BSE.

HDFC AMC, investment manager to HDFC Mutual Fund, has a diversified asset class mix across equity and fixed income/others. It also has a countrywide network of branches along with a diversified distribution network comprising banks, independent financial advisors and national distributors.
