The Hy-Tech Engineers IPO closed for subscription on August 27 after four days of heavy bidding. The issue was subscribed 247.38 times overall, with the NII portion receiving the highest demand at 412.95 times. QIBs subscribed 249.71 times, while the retail portion was booked 175.08 times.

Mumbai, August 27: The Hy-Tech Engineers IPO has officially closed for subscription, and the final numbers show just how strong the demand turned out to be. The ₹135.73 crore issue, which opened on August 24, ended its four-day bidding window on August 27 with an overall subscription of 247.38 times. 

The issue came with a price band of ₹50 to ₹53 per share, with the final issue price set at ₹53. With the bidding now over, investors’ attention moves to the allotment and listing. 

Hy-Tech Engineers IPO Subscription Status 

By the time bidding closed, investors had placed bids for 4,43,47,33,671 shares, against 1,79,27,144 shares available in the public issue. 

The NII category saw the strongest interest, ending at 412.95 times subscription. The category received bids for around 1,58,63,63,292 shares against 38,41,531 shares on offer. 

The QIB (Ex-Anchor) portion wasn’t far behind in terms of overall demand, getting subscribed 249.71 times. It received bids for 1,27,90,02,086 shares against 51,22,042 shares reserved for the category. 

Retail investors also piled into the issue. Their portion was subscribed 175.08 times, with bids for 1,56,93,68,293 shares against 89,63,571 shares available.

Hy-Tech Engineers IPO Day-Wise Subscription 

The subscription story changed pretty quickly over the four days. The issue started with decent demand, but the numbers kept climbing as the bidding window progressed.

The IPO was already 7.84 times subscribed on Day 1. By Day 2, the overall figure had moved to 19.57 times, while Day 3 saw it jump to 51.76 times. 

The final day was where things really accelerated. QIB subscription shot up from 0.83 times on Day 3 to 249.71 times by the close. NII demand climbed to 412.95 times, while retail subscription reached 175.08 times. 

Hy-Tech Engineers IPO Details 

The Hy-Tech Engineers IPO includes a fresh issue of 1,13,20,754 shares, worth around ₹60 crore, along with an offer for sale of 1,42,89,450 shares, valued at around ₹75.73 crore. 

Together, the issue comprises 2,56,10,204 shares, aggregating to approximately ₹135.73 crore at the upper end of the price band. 

The final issue price is ₹53 per share, and the IPO lot size is 283 shares. This puts the minimum retail application amount at ₹14,999. 

The company is scheduled to list on both the BSE and NSE, with September 1, 2026 set as the tentative listing date. 

Hy-Tech Engineers IPO Allotment and Listing 

Now that the IPO has closed, the next date investors need to keep an eye on is August 28, when the allotment is expected to be finalised. 

For investors who don’t get shares, the refund is scheduled for August 31. Successful applicants are also expected to receive their shares in their demat accounts on August 31. 

The stock is scheduled to make its market debut on September 1, 2026. 

Conclusion 

The Hy-Tech Engineers IPO finished its subscription period with a massive 247.38 times overall subscription. The NII segment led the rush at 412.95 times, while QIBs and retail investors also put in bids well above their respective quotas. 

With the bidding now closed, the focus shifts away from subscription numbers and towards allotment on August 28. Investors who make the cut will then have the September 1 listing to look forward to.
