Hy-Tech Engineers IPO got off to a solid start on the opening day, with the ₹135.73 crore issue subscribed 1.34 times as of 10:54 AM on August 24. Retail investors led the bidding at 2.13 times, while the NII portion reached 1.29 times. QIB participation was still muted at 0.00 times on Day 1.

Mumbai, August 24: The Hy-Tech Engineers IPO opened to a fairly strong response on Monday, with retail investors taking the lead in the early bidding. The ₹135.73 crore issue was subscribed 1.34 times as of 10:54 AM on August 24, the first day of the issue.
The retail portion was already subscribed 2.13 times, while the NII category stood at 1.29 times. On the other hand, the QIB portion excluding anchor investors had barely seen any traction and remained at 0.00 times at the latest update.
The IPO received bids for 2,40,66,886 shares against 1,79,27,144 shares offered to the public. Based on the upper end of the price band, the bids represented around ₹127.55 crore in value. The issue had attracted 53,091 applications by the time of the update.
Within the NII category, the smaller NII segment showed stronger participation at 2.35 times, while the larger NII category was at 0.76 times.
Hy-Tech Engineers is raising funds through a combination of a fresh issue of 1.13 crore shares aggregating up to ₹60 crore and an offer for sale of 1.43 crore shares worth up to ₹75.73 crore. The IPO carries a price band of ₹50 to ₹53 per share.

Retail investors have already put in bids worth more than twice the shares reserved for them. The NII category has also crossed the one-time mark, although the response within the two NII sub-categories remains uneven.
The smaller NII segment has reached 2.35 times, comfortably ahead of the 0.76 times recorded by the larger NII segment.
QIB participation, meanwhile, has been the clear laggard so far. The category was at 0.00 times at the time of the latest update, although institutional bidding can pick up during the later stages of an IPO.
Day-Wise Subscription Trend
Hy-Tech Engineers IPO has only completed its first day of bidding, but the opening session has already pushed the issue beyond full subscription.
