The Hy-Tech Engineers IPO is seeing strong bidding on the final day of its subscription. As of 10:08 AM on August 27, the ₹135.73 crore issue was subscribed 55.74 times overall. NII investors led the demand at 95.46x, while retail investors subscribed 70.08x. The QIB portion was at 0.84x at the latest update.

Mumbai, August 27: The Hy-Tech Engineers IPO is drawing heavy investor interest on the last day of bidding, with the issue already subscribed more than 55 times by mid-morning.

The ₹135.73 crore IPO opened on August 24, 2026, and is set to close on August 27. According to the latest subscription data available at 10:08 AM on Day 4, the issue was subscribed 55.74 times overall.

Investors had bid for 99,92,21,494 shares, compared with 1,79,27,144 shares on offer. The issue had also received 18,45,687 applications at the time of the update.

Most of the momentum is coming from non-institutional and retail investors. The NII category has already crossed 95 times subscription, while retail demand has also remained particularly strong.

NII Category Leads the Bidding at 95.46x

The NII segment is currently seeing the strongest demand, with subscription reaching 95.46 times.

Breaking that down further, the sNII portion has been subscribed 155.50 times, while the bNII category has received 65.45 times subscription.

Retail investors have also come in strongly. The retail portion was subscribed 70.08 times, with bids for 62,82,10,192 shares against 89,63,571 shares available.

The QIB (Ex Anchor) portion stood at 0.84x, with 42,86,601 shares bid for against 51,22,042 shares offered.

Overall, the issue had attracted bids worth around ₹5,295.87 crore, based on the upper end of the IPO price band.

The IPO started its first day with a 7.84x subscription. Interest picked up on Day 2, pushing the overall figure to 19.57x.

The real jump came on Day 3, when the issue moved to 51.76x. By 10:08 AM on the final day, another round of bidding had taken the total subscription to 55.74x.

NII demand has been particularly aggressive. Subscription in the category increased from 84.57x on Day 3 to 95.46x on Day 4. Retail subscription also moved up from 66.80x to 70.08x.

The QIB category, on the other hand, remained below full subscription at 0.84x.

Hy-Tech Engineers IPO Details

The IPO has a price band of ₹50 to ₹53 per share, with the issue price fixed at ₹53 per share.

Investors need to apply for at least 283 shares, which works out to a minimum investment of ₹14,999 at the upper end of the price band.

The ₹135.73 crore issue comprises:

  • Fresh Issue: 1.13 crore shares worth ₹60 crore
  • Offer for Sale: 1.43 crore shares worth ₹75.73 crore
  • Total Issue Size: 2.56 crore shares

Of the issue, 50% is reserved for QIBs, 15% for NIIs and 35% for retail investors.

New Berry Capitals Pvt. Ltd. is the book running lead manager, while Bigshare Services Pvt. Ltd. is handling the registrar responsibilities.

Hy-Tech Engineers IPO Anchor Investors

Before the IPO opened for public subscription, Hy-Tech Engineers raised ₹40.72 crore from anchor investors.

The anchor bidding took place on August 21, 2026, with 76,83,060 shares allocated to the anchor portion.

The lock-in period for 50% of these shares ends on September 27, 2026. The remaining anchor shares will be locked in until November 26, 2026.

What Happens After the IPO Closes?

The Hy-Tech Engineers IPO is still open for subscription as of the latest update and is scheduled to close later today, August 27.

Once bidding ends, the next major event for investors will be the allotment process.
