ICICI Prudential AMC IPO Listing Today: Make Debut with a 20% Premium 

Mumbai, 19 December 2025: Shares of ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company IPO listed strong on NSE and BSE on Friday with a premium of 20% above its issue price. This comes after a surge in AMC stocks on Wednesday after SEBI’s latest modifications to mutual fund norms improved investors’ sentiment. The Rs 10,602.65-crore Fresh Public Issue (FPO) that had attracted robust bids was subscribed 39.05 times in total. 

Shares of ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company Ltd were listed at Rs 2,600 per share on the NSE, a healthy premium of 20.09 percent. The Rs 10,603-crore IPO had a price band of Rs 2,061-2,165 per share. On the BSE, the shares of the company were listed at Rs 2606.20 apiece, a premium of 20.38 percent. 

A͏t the ͏conclusion of the IP͏O, ICICI Pr͏ude͏ntial AMC was the fourth-most bid IPO in In͏dia͏n hi͏story, follow͏ing L͏G Electronics Ind͏ia’s ₹4.4 lakh crore, Bajaj Housing Finance of ͏₹3.͏2 ͏lakh crore͏, and Re͏liance͏ Po͏wer.

Commenting on the listing, Anil Wadhwani, CEO of Prudential plc, said: “The significant investor demand for the IPO underscores IPAMC’s growth strategy and its strong position in India a key strategic market for Prudential. “The estimated net proceeds¹ from this IPO and the earlier pre-IPO private placement are Rs 130 billion and, as previously communicated, are intended to be returned to Prudential shareholders, subject to regulatory and shareholder approvals where required,” he added. 

ICICI Bank currently holds a 51% stake in ICICI Prudential AMC, while joint venture partner Prudential owns the remaining 49% 

ICICI Prudential AMC Share Price Snapshot on NSE and BSE at 13:10 PM 

On the NSE, ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company Limited (INE346A01027) was trading at ₹ 2,584.30 at 1:17 pm on 19 December 2025, down ₹ 15.70 or 0.60% from its opening price of ₹ 2,600.00, while remaining up ₹ 419.30 or 19.37% over the issue price. The volume of trade stood at 275.68 lakh shares, with a traded value of ₹7,202.91 crore. The company’s market capitalisation was ₹1.28 lakh crore, with an active trading session on the NSE. 

On the BSE, the ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company Ltd (ICICIAMC | 544568| INE346A01027) was trading at ₹2,581.10 at 1:17 pm IST, down by ₹ 25.10 or 0.96% from the previous close, but still up by ₹416.10 or 19.22% from the issue price. Trading volume was 33.15 lakh shares, turnover was ₹868.48 crore, which gave a market cap of ₹1.28 lakh crore to the company.
