IL&FS Investment Managers Penny Stock Price Jumps Over 11% After Q2 Turnaround

Mumbai, 14th November 2025: IL&FS Investment Managers, a firm managing private equity assets across multiple sectors, saw its shares surge 11.7% in morning trading on Friday. The jump followed the release of its Q2 FY26 consolidated results for the quarter ended 30 June 2025, which showed signs of recovery after previous periods of instability, attracting renewed investor interest.

Q2 FY26 Reports Recovery Academy Despite Month After Month Dip

The company reported total revenue of ₹889.03 lakh for Q2 FY26, down from ₹1,503.00 lakh in the previous quarter but close to ₹996.18 lakh in the same quarter last year. While the sequential decline reflects month-on-month fluctuations, the results indicate operational stabilization and a recovery trajectory compared with prior year trends.

Improved Cost Control Aids Turnaround

Total expenditure for Q2 FY26 dropped sharply to ₹845.72 lakh, compared with ₹1,193.35 lakh in the same quarter last year, reflecting improved cost management. This was slightly higher than its Q1 FY26 expenditure of ₹638.84 lakh. The year-on-year reduction in expenses helped the company return to profitability, with profit before tax of ₹43.31 lakh versus a loss of ₹197.17 lakh in Q2 FY25. While below the Q1 FY26 figure of ₹864.16 lakh, the results represent a notable improvement in overall performance. After taxes, net profit rose to ₹23.01 lakh, reversing a net loss of ₹372.01 lakh in the prior year.

Stock Gains on Renewed Investor Interest

The revival in earnings improved market sentiment, and the stock price of IVC Ltd increased to ₹8.60 at 10:50 AM, gaining ₹0.91 from the previous close at ₹7.69. The counter saw strong buying interest as there were higher buy orders than sell orders. The stock also traded to an intraday high of ₹8.95 and low of ₹8.31, reflecting active interest after the quarterly results.
