Indian markets begin the day strongly in green; Reliance Industries shares up by more than 1%

Indian equity markets have started the day strongly in green, today, 27^th October, 2025. At 9:40 a.m. IST, Nifty 50 is up by 100.55 points or 0.39%. Sensex is up by 344.01 points or 0.41%.

Top gainers & losers

Top gainers at Nifty 50 today are SBI Life, Reliance Industries and Hindalco. Top three losers at this time at Nifty 50 are Kotak Bank, BEL and ONGC. Reliance Industries’ shares are up by 1.78% at this time, trading at Rs 1,477.40. Reliance shares are up today after the company formed a partnership with Meta for delivering AI enterprise solutions. Reliance is also investing around $15 billion for building a 1 Gigawatt data center in Jamnagar in Gujarat.

Hindalco shares continue to gain on the back of rising aluminum prices.
