IRCON Bags ₹1,869 Crore Orders from MMRDA and RVNL Across Metro & Railway Projects

New Delhi, July 21, 2025 — Ircon International Ltd (NSE: IRCON | BSE: 541956) has secured three major infrastructure orders worth a cumulative ₹1,869 crore from the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) and Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), significantly strengthening its EPC portfolio in metro and rail construction segments.

MMRDA Line 6: ₹642 Crore Contract for Metro Electrification
IRCON has been awarded a works contract for Mumbai Metro Line-6 (Swami Samarth Nagar–Vikhroli) under Package-2 (CA-233) covering:
- Design, supply, installation, and commissioning of:
- Power supply and traction systems
- E&M works
- Lifts and escalators
- Plus 5 years of comprehensive maintenance after a 2-year defect liability period
Contract Value: ₹642.44 crore and €2.79 million
Timeline: 104 weeks build + 7 years maintenance

MMRDA Line 5: ₹471 Crore Metro Substation & SCADA Package
In a second major win, IRCON secured another MMRDA metro contract for Line-5 (Pkg-2, CA-239), involving:
- 220kV receiving substation and cabling works (220/33/25kV)
- 25kV Overhead Catenary System
- SCADA systems, auxiliary sub-stations
- Lifts & escalators for the main line, stations, and the Kasheli depot
Contract Value: ₹471.30 crore and €2.84 million
Timeline: 108 weeks build + 7 years maintenance

RVNL Order: ₹756 Crore Railway EPC Project (IRCON Share ₹529 Crore)
IRCON, in JV with JPWIPL (70:30), won a Letter of Award from Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) for executing:
- Roadbed construction, minor bridges, buildings
- Track installation (excluding rails, sleepers)
- General electrical and civil engineering works
- For the 69 km Pipaliya Nankar – Budni section in Madhya Pradesh
Total Contract Value: ₹755.78 crore (incl. GST)
IRCON’s Share: ₹529.05 crore

Strategic Outlook
These wins mark a significant push for IRCON in both metro electrification and conventional railway EPC works. This aligns with the government’s infrastructure modernisation goals.
