Mumbai, September 30: Larsen & Toubro’s Transportation Infrastructure vertical has secured two contracts from the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) of Dubai for road development projects linked to the Latifa Bint Hamdan Corridor.
L&T Wins Two Road Development Contracts In Dubai
According to the company’s announcement, one of the contracts covers the development of a new road connecting Al Khail Road with the extension of Latifa Bint Hamdan Street. The scope includes associated bridges, tunnels and other road works.
The project is intended to improve connectivity between Al Khail Road, Latifa Bint Hamdan Street and Al Meydan Street, while also providing better access to nearby development areas.
The second contract involves development work on parts of Al Meydan Street. This includes a new interchange and at-grade roads, along with a cycling track connecting the existing cycling network. The route is planned to contribute to an integrated connection from Al Qudra to Jumeirah.
Stock Market Snapshot
The L&T share price stood at ₹3,764.70 as of 12:28:46 PM IST on September 30, 2026.
The stock was up ₹15.60, or 0.42%, at the time. Shares traded higher during the morning session before moving within a relatively narrow range around ₹3,760 to ₹3,770.
The share price movement came as L&T announced the two Dubai contracts for its Transportation Infrastructure business.

Projects Targeted For Completion By 2028
Both projects are scheduled for completion by the end of 2028. Once completed, the wider Latifa Bint Hamdan Corridor is expected to extend by around 12 km and strengthen connectivity between several major road corridors in Dubai.
These include Sheikh Zayed Road, Al Khail Road, Al Meydan Street, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan Al Nahyan Street and Emirates Road.
The company said the corridor is expected to accommodate around 16,000 vehicles per hour in both directions and more than 130,000 trips a day. The planned road improvements are also expected to reduce travel time between Umm Al Sheif Street and Emirates Road from around 33 minutes to 15 minutes.
