New Delhi, October 16: Lemon Tree Hotels Limited share price is on the rise today, on October 16. As of 11:55 AM, the shares are up by 1.49%, or 2.43 points, and are currently trading at ₹165.44. Until now, the shares have traded within a range of ₹167.90 and ₹163.21. The current traded volume stands at 21.40 lakh shares, with the company’s market cap at ₹12,914 crore. The shares have their 52-week high at ₹180.68 and their 52-week low at ₹112.50.
Lemon Tree Hotels Limited is an Indian company that operates multiple hotels across India. The company operates under several distinct brands, including Lemon Tree Premier (upper-midscale), Lemon Tree Hotels (midscale), and Red Fox Hotels (economy). The company was established in 2002, and is headquartered in New Delhi.
Key Trigger: Footprint Expansion with New Properties in Ranchi and Gandhidham
The rise in the share price comes after the company announced the launch of new properties in Ranchi and Gandhidham. The company has opened a new hotel in Ranchi, its second property in Jharkhand. The hotel includes 45 rooms and suites, a multi-cuisine restaurant (Citrus Café), a bar (Slounge), a fitness center, and a swimming pool.
Management Commentary
“Ranchi is emerging as one of India’s preferred destinations, drawing both leisure seekers and business travellers alike,” said Vishvapreet Singh Cheema, President, Lemon Tree Hotels, adding that this launch reinforces the brand’s commitment to offering comfort, warmth, and value to its guests.
Additionally, the company also announced a new hotel in Gandhidham, Gujarat. The company’s subsidiary Carnation Hotels Pvt will manage the hotel. Ltd., and will feature 54 well-appointed rooms, a restaurant, a banquet hall, and recreational facilities including a swimming pool and spa.
“With this signing, we will expand our business and leisure portfolio in Gujarat, a state where we already have nine operational and 19 upcoming properties,” said Vilas Pawar, CEO – Managed & Franchise Business.
