Mumbai, July 23: Lohia Corp IPO opened for subscription on Thursday, marking the start of bidding for the ₹1,101.28 crore public issue. In the first few hours of Day 1, investor participation remained measured, with the IPO subscribed 0.03 times as of 10:30 AM, while retail investors accounted for most of the early demand.
The book-built issue will remain open for bidding until July 27, giving investors three more trading sessions after today to place their applications. As is typically seen on the opening day of large mainboard IPOs, subscription figures are expected to build gradually over the remaining bidding period.
Retail Investors Make An Early Start
Initial subscription data showed retail investors taking the lead during the morning session, while institutional participation was yet to pick up.
The Retail Individual Investors (RII) category was subscribed 0.15 times, the Employee portion received 0.05 times subscription, while the NII category was subscribed 0.01 times. The QIB (Ex Anchor) segment had not received bids at the time of the update.
Overall, investors had bid for 4,31,935 shares against 1,43,52,274 shares available for subscription, resulting in an overall subscription of 0.03 times.

Lohia Corp IPO Details
Lohia Corp is looking to raise ₹1,101.28 crore through an Offer for Sale (OFS) of 2,59,31,407 equity shares. Since the issue is entirely an OFS, the company will not receive any proceeds from the public offering, with the funds going to the selling shareholders.
The IPO has a price band of ₹404 to ₹425 per share.
Retail investors can bid for a minimum of 35 shares, requiring an investment of ₹14,875 at the upper end of the price band. The minimum investment for S-HNI applicants is 490 shares, amounting to ₹2,08,250, while B-HNI investors need to apply for at least 2,380 shares, requiring an investment of ₹10,11,500.

The net issue has been reserved as follows:

- NII: 15%
- Retail: 10%
Additionally, 2,00,000 shares have been reserved for eligible employees, who are also offered a ₹40 per share discount.
