Mumbai, August 24: The Madhur Knit Crafts IPO has opened for subscription, but investor interest remained subdued in the early hours of Day 1. The ₹53.27 crore issue was subscribed 0.01 times as of 10:25 AM on August 24, with individual investors showing slightly better participation than other public categories.

The issue had received bids for 49,200 shares against 47,58,000 shares available for public subscription. At the upper end of the price band, these bids were worth around ₹0.49 crore. The Madhur Knit Crafts IPO had received 18 applications by the time of the latest update.

Individual investors accounted for most of the public bidding so far, with their portion subscribed 0.02 times. Investors in this category had bid for 38,400 shares against 22,77,600 shares reserved for them.

The NII category remained largely untouched at 0.00 times, with bids for 10,800 shares against an allocation of 22,77,600 shares. Within the segment, sNII demand stood at 0.01 times, while the bNII portion was still at 0.00 times.

The QIB portion, excluding anchor investors, had not received any bids at the time of the update and stood at 0.00 times.

Madhur Knit Crafts is a ₹53.27 crore bookbuilding IPO, comprising an entirely fresh issue of 53,26,800 shares. The price band has been set at ₹95 to ₹100 per share, with the IPO scheduled to remain open through August 27.

For QIBs, excluding the anchor allocation, there were no bids at the latest update. Since this is only the first day of a four-day issue, the subscription figures can change sharply as institutional and other investor participation picks up.

Madhur Knit Crafts Limited, incorporated in August 1997, is a textile manufacturing company involved in producing fabrics, blankets, winter textiles, garments and other textile products.

The company began commercial operations in 2013 with a focus on blanket manufacturing and has gradually expanded its product range to serve consumer, industrial and institutional textile requirements.

Madhur Knit Crafts operates an integrated yarn-to-cloth manufacturing setup. Its production activities cover processes such as knitting, dyeing, printing, brushing, polishing, sueding, stentering, bonding and finishing.

The company’s manufacturing facility is located in Ludhiana, Punjab, a major textile hub. It sources textile machinery from countries including Korea, Taiwan and China and also has an in-house Effluent Treatment Plant. The company is ISO 9001:2015 certified for its quality management system.
