The Madhur Knit Crafts IPO was subscribed 0.42 times overall by the end of Day 2, August 25, 2026. The QIB portion was subscribed 1.01 times, while the retail portion stood at 0.55 times and the NII category at 0.23 times. The IPO remains open for subscription until August 27, 2026.

Mumbai, August 25: The Madhur Knit Crafts IPO continued to see a mixed response on its second day of bidding, with the ₹53 crore issue receiving bids for 19,86,000 shares against 47,58,000 shares offered for subscription. 

At the end of Day 2 on August 25, 2026, the issue was subscribed 0.42 times overall. The QIB portion crossed the one-time mark, while retail and NII investors were yet to fully subscribe to their respective portions. 

Retail investors subscribed 0.55 times, while the non-institutional investor (NII) category reached 0.23 times subscription. 

The IPO opened on August 24 and will remain open until August 27, 2026.

The category-wise subscription figures at the end of Day 2 are:

The IPO had received 556 applications by the end of Day 2. 

The QIB segment has emerged as the strongest category so far. Its subscription increased from 0.99 times on Day 1 to 1.01 times on Day 2. 

Madhur Knit Crafts IPO Day 2 Subscription Details 

The retail portion was subscribed 0.55 times on Day 2, with bids coming in for 12,52,800 shares against 22,77,600 shares offered. 

The NII portion was subscribed 0.23 times, receiving bids for 5,29,200 shares against 22,77,600 shares reserved for the category. 

Within the NII segment, the bNII portion was subscribed 0.38 times, while the sNII portion was subscribed only 0.08 times. 

QIB demand was comparatively stronger. The category received bids for 2,04,000 shares against 2,02,800 shares offered, taking its subscription level to 1.01 times. 

Overall, the issue moved from 0.32 times on Day 1 to 0.42 times on Day 2. 

Madhur Knit Crafts IPO Price Band and Lot Size 

Madhur Knit Crafts has fixed the IPO price band at ₹95 to ₹100 per share. The lot size is 1,200 shares, meaning individual investors need to invest a minimum of ₹2,40,000 at the upper end of the price band. 

For HNI investors, the minimum application is for 3,600 shares, requiring an investment of ₹3,60,000 at the upper price. 

The IPO is proposed to list on the NSE SME platform, with the tentative listing date set for September 1, 2026.

Madhur Knit Crafts Ltd. is a textile manufacturing company engaged in the production of fabrics, blankets, winter textiles, garments and other textile products. 

The company commenced commercial operations in 2013 with a focus on manufacturing blankets and has since expanded its product portfolio to cater to consumer, industrial and institutional textile requirements. 

Madhur Knit Crafts operates an integrated yarn-to-cloth manufacturing model covering processes such as knitting, dyeing, printing, brushing, polishing, seeding, tentering, bonding and finishing. 

Its manufacturing facility is located in Ludhiana, Punjab, a major textile hub. The company also undertakes raw material sourcing, logistics services and distribution through its network. 

Madhur Knit Crafts IPO: What Investors Should Know 

The subscription response remained subdued overall on Day 2, with the issue reaching 0.42 times subscription by the end of the bidding session. 

QIB demand was the main positive, as the category moved above full subscription to 1.01 times. Retail participation also improved from 0.25 times on Day 1 to 0.55 times on Day 2. 

The NII category, however, slipped from 0.32 times on Day 1 to 0.23 times on Day 2, with the sNII portion particularly weak at 0.08 times. 

With one more day of bidding remaining, the final subscription figures could change significantly, particularly if retail and NII participation picks up on the closing day. 

Conclusion 

The Madhur Knit Crafts IPO reached 0.42 times subscription on Day 2, compared with 0.32 times at the end of Day 1. QIBs were the only category to cross full subscription at 1.01 times, while retail investors stood at 0.55 times and NIIs at 0.23 times. 

The IPO remains open for subscription until August 27, 2026. Investors will be watching the final bidding day to see whether stronger retail and NII demand can push the overall issue closer to full subscription.
