Mumbai, 29 September 2025: The initial public offering (IPO) of Manas Polymers and Energies Ltd IPO has seen limited traction so far on the second day of subscription (0.03x), with retail investors driving the minimal activity recorded by late morning. Institutional participation has remained largely absent, highlighting a cautious approach from larger market players.

Headquartered in Gwalior, Manas Polymers and Energies Ltd specialises in premium PET preforms, bottles, jars, and closure caps, operating a 4,000 MT per annum fully automated injection moulding facility. Beyond manufacturing, the company is active in the renewable power sector as an Independent Power Producer (IPP), generating solar energy. Its clientele spans automotive, construction, packaging, agriculture, and energy sectors, enabling the company to balance traditional packaging production with clean energy initiatives.

Manas Polymers and Energies IPO Size and Structure Highlights ₹23 Crore Public Issue With 1,600-Share Lot Size

The IPO comprises 29.04 lakh equity shares, raising approximately ₹23 crore. Each lot consists of 1,600 shares, equating to ₹1.29 lakh at the upper end of the price band. The public issue is open from 26 to 30 September 2025, with listing scheduled for 6 October 2025.

Manas Polymers and Energies IPO Subscription Performance Signals Limited Uptake as Day 2 Progresses

The subdued subscription on Day 2 suggests that while retail investors are engaging with the IPO, larger institutional interest remains muted. The 0.03x overall subscription by late morning indicates that the issue is yet to gain broader traction in the market, despite the company’s presence in both industrial packaging and renewable energy sectors.

Manas Polymers and Energies IPO Price-Wise Bidding Concentration Shows Investor Preference for Lower Band

Bids have predominantly clustered towards the lower end of the price range:

  • ₹77 per share: 76,800 shares
  • ₹78 per share: 73,600 shares
  • ₹81 per share: 70,400 shares

This trend suggests that investors are cautious about the upper valuation limits and are positioning closer to the floor price to manage risk.

The Day 2 performance of the Manas Polymers IPO reflects early-stage interest primarily from retail investors, with institutional participation yet to materialise. The concentration of bids near the lower end of the price band provides insights into perceived valuation comfort and cautious market sentiment around the public issue.
