The ceasefire between Iran and Israel has held till now. Reports came last evening of violation of ceasefire from both sides but then it held on. A Pentagon report last evening said that America’s bombing of nuclear sites of Iran did not completely destroy Iran’s nuclear program but only pushed it back by a few months.

US markets ended the day in green

US markets ended the day in green yesterday, 25th June, 2025, after ceasefire between Iran and Israel kept on holding in spite of its fragile nature. Nasdaq ended the day, up by 281.56 points or 1.43%. Dow Jones ended the day, up by 507.24 points or 1.19%. S&P 500 ended the day, up by 67 points or 1.11%.

European markets also ended the day in green yesterday. Euro Stoxx 50 ended the day, up by 75.17 points or 1.44%. DAX ended the day, up by 372 points or 1.60%. FTSE 100 ended the day, up by 0.95 points or 0.011%.

Asian markets start the day on a mixed note

Asian markets have started the day on a mixed note today. At 8:45 a.m. Indian standard time, 25th June, 2025, Nikkei 225 is down by 40.09 points or 0.10%. Hang Seng is up by 190 points or 0.79%. Shanghai composite index is up by 8.02 points or 0.23%. Kospi index is up by 4.97 points or 0.16%.

Indian equity markets are likely to start the day today on a mixed note. Crude oil prices remain subdued as the ceasefire holds on. At 8:50 a.m. Indian Standard Time, WTI crude for August delivery is up by 1.32%, trading at $65.26 per barrel. Brent crude is up by 1.28%, trading at $68 per barrel.
