MOIL Q2 FY26 Profit Jumps 40% YoY to ₹70.4 Crore; Stock Price Gains Over 2%

Nagpur, November 11, 2025: MOIL Limited reported a strong start to FY26, posting a net profit of ₹70.44 crore for the first quarter, up 40.9% from ₹49.95 crore in the same period last year. The robust performance reflects improved operational efficiency and higher realisations. Investors responded positively to the results, pushing the company’s shares up by 2.3%.
Material Financial Highlights
The company’s consolidated total income rose 18.8% year-on-year in Q2FY26 to ₹37,832.81 lakh, supported by stable revenue and improved other income. Cost efficiencies achieved during the first quarter also contributed to better profitability, enhancing margins by 5.9%.
Driven by strong business performance and higher margins, net profit surged 40.9% year-on-year to ₹7,043.85 lakh, marking a solid improvement over both the corresponding period last year and the preceding quarter.
Segment & Operational Update
Revenue growth was fueled by improved manganese ore realisations and slightly higher production volumes during the quarter. Expenses were kept under control despite increased employee costs, resulting in strong operational leverage. For the six months ended September 2025, the company reported a net profit of ₹121.94 crore, a 56.7% year-on-year increase, on revenue of ₹69,610.76 lakh.

On November 11, 2025, the share price of MOIL closed at ₹373, a gain of 1.61 %, with an intraday high of ₹377.90. The counter had trading volume of 10.48 lakh shares and turnover of ₹38.94 crore. The market capitalisation of the company was ₹7,653 crore. Despite the recent gains, the stock remains about 20% below its 52-week high of ₹405.60.
