Mphasis Q2 FY26 Net Profit Rises 11% YoY to ₹4690.74 Million; Revenue Up 10.6%

Bengaluru, October 31, 2025: Mphasis Limited (NSE: MPHASIS | BSE: 526299) has announced a consolidated net profit of ₹4,690.74 million for the quarter that ended on September 30, 2025, which is an increase of 11% YoY from ₹4,233.32 million in the same period last year. The total income of the company has increased 10.6% YoY to ₹39,765.54 million, driven by continuous growth in revenue across all major business verticals.
Following the announcement of its Q2 FY26 results, the share price of Mphasis Limited was trading at ₹2,836, down 1.99% in early trade today, as investors likely booked profits after the company’s steady quarterly performance.
Quarterly Financial Performance
Revenue from operations was ₹39,019.11 million in Q2 FY26, 10.3% higher than ₹35,361.46 million in Q2 FY25 and up 4.5% sequentially over the last quarter. Total income stood at ₹39,765.54 million, representing a 10.6% YoY and 4.3% QoQ increase.
Total expenses increased 10.5% YoY to ₹33,498.06 million, from ₹30,323.24 million for the same quarter a year ago. Profit before tax stood at ₹6,247.82 million, showing an increase of 11.1% YoY and representing 2.4% sequential growth.
The net profit for the quarter was ₹4,690.74 million, up 10.8% YoY and 6.2% QoQ. Total comprehensive income rose to ₹4,996.63 million from ₹4,516.27 million a year ago. Basic EPS for the quarter ended stood at ₹24.65, while diluted EPS was ₹24.54.
Mphasis posted revenue of ₹ 76,344 million for the first half of FY26, a rise of 9.7% YoY, while net profit came in at ₹9,107.77 million, driving strong operating leverage and disciplined cost management.
Expense Analysis
Employee benefit expenses were the single largest cost component and stood at ₹22,426.92 million, representing an increase of 11.4% over the previous year. Other expenses showed a decent increase to reach ₹9,356.40 million. Finance costs remained pretty flat at ₹437.71 million.
Other Comprehensive Income (OCI)
The total other comprehensive income stood at ₹305.89 million in Q2 FY26, driven by exchange gains arising from the translation of foreign operations. Consequently, the total comprehensive income for the quarter stood at ₹4,996.63 million against ₹4,516.27 million in Q2 FY25.
Segmental and Strategic Overview
Mphasis furthered its momentum in the BFSI and technology services verticals, powered by digital transformation initiatives and new client wins across the U.S. and Europe. The company continued to invest in cloud modernization, AI-driven automation, and platform-led solutions for long-term growth.

The share price of Mphasis Limited was trading at ₹2,836, down 1.99% as of 10:02 AM. Shares of Mphasis Ltd opened at ₹2,950.00 and moved between a high of ₹2,961.20 and a low of ₹2,826.00 so far. The market capitalization of the company stood at around ₹54,970 crore. The stock is trading at a P/E of 31.09 and offers a dividend yield of 2.01%. Over the past 52 weeks, the shares have moved within a range of ₹3,237.95 to ₹2,044.55. The company’s quarterly dividend payment stands at ₹14.25 per share.
