MRF’s June Quarter Profit Down by 12.3%

MRF Ltd. announced its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2025 (Q1 FY26). The company recorded robust revenue growth. But MRF’s profitability slipped as rising input and operational costs eroded margins.
MRF Consolidated Financial Performance
On a consolidated basis, revenue from operations was ₹7,675.69 crore. Whereas in Q1 FY25, the company reported ₹7,196.45 crore. This is a 6.6% increase.
Including other income of ₹126.43 crore, the total income reached ₹7,802.12 crore. This is compared to ₹7,280.49 crore in the same period last year.
Consolidated profit after tax fell to ₹500.47 crore from ₹571.02 crore in Q1 FY25. This is a 12.3% YoY dip. Basic and diluted EPS came in at ₹1,180.04, down from ₹1,346.38 in the previous year.
MRF Stock Performance
As of 2:16 PM on August 12, 2025, MRF shares are trading at ₹1,41,200, down 0.68% from the previous close. The stock has gained 2.85% in the last year, rising 9% year-to-date and 29% in the last six months. However, it experienced a 5.18% decline in the previous month.
MRF Ltd.’s shares opened the day at ₹1,42,170. MFR shares hit an intraday high of ₹1,42,695. It dipped to a day’s low of ₹1,37,215. The company currently holds a market capitalization of around ₹59,880 crore. The stock has fluctuated between a 52-week high of ₹1,53,000 and a 52-week low of ₹1,02,124.05.
The stock closed the day today, 12th August, down by 1.03% at Rs 140,700.
