Mumbai, May 7: Airfloa Rail Technology said it has secured a new work order worth ₹92.08 lakh from the Integral Coach Factory, Chennai, under Indian Railways.

The order further adds to the company’s execution pipeline in the railway engineering and rolling stock components segment, which has remained active amid ongoing railway modernisation projects across India, according to an exchange disclosure submitted to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Airfloa Rail Wins Stainless Steel Nose Cone Contract

The disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

According to the filing, the contract involves the supply and installation of nine sets of stainless steel nose cones for MEMU/DMC/JK(944) railway coaches.

The company said the order has been awarded by a domestic entity and is expected to be executed within 12 months.

As per the annexure attached with the filing, the contract will be governed by standard Indian Railways tender conditions and related contractual terms.

Airfloa Rail Technology also outlined the payment structure for the project. The company said 90% payment would be released against PRC and inspection certificate documentation, while the remaining amount along with installation charges would be paid after certification by the Mechanical Department.

The order comes amid continued investment in railway infrastructure, coach modernisation and rolling stock upgrades as Indian Railways expands procurement activity across passenger and suburban train networks.

Airfloa Rail Technology shares traded higher after the company announced the railway order win.

The stock rose 2.28% to ₹343.00 on the BSE at 12:29 p.m. IST on May 7, according to exchange data.

During the session, the stock traded within a range of ₹332.00 to ₹344.95.

Investor sentiment remained positive as railway equipment and component manufacturers continue benefiting from increased procurement activity and infrastructure spending across the Indian Railways ecosystem.
