Significance of Muhurat Trading
Muhurat Trading is an ancient Diwali tradition believed to bring prosperity and good fortune. It marks the beginning of the Hindu New Year (Samvat 2082) and is important from deeply ingrained cultural and financial points of view amongst investors as well as traders. During this trading session, numerous participants place ritualistic investments as part of festive rituals for prosperity.
The MCX evening session on 22nd October will allow traders to track global market action in major commodities such as gold, silver, crude oil, and base metals, following global movements. NCDEX, which primarily trades in agri commodities, however, will observe a complete trading holiday on this day.
