NBCC Bags ₹28.78 Crore Work Orders; Shares Fall 0.65%

Mumbai, October 1: NBCC (India) Limited has been awarded three works worth approximately ₹28.78 crore, excluding GST, covering school maintenance, firefighting installation and construction of the India International Cultural Centre (IICC) in Gurugram.

According to the company’s exchange disclosure, the contracts have been awarded by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), New Delhi, and International Divya Pariwar Society (IDPS), New Delhi. The company said the works are part of its ordinary course of business.

The largest assignment is valued at approximately ₹26.69 crore and relates to the construction of the IICC at Gurugram for IDPS.

The IICC construction assignment from International Divya Pariwar Society carries an estimated value of ₹26.69 crore, excluding GST. The nature of the work is classified as project management consultancy, with the project involving construction of the India International Cultural Centre at Gurugram.

NBCC has also received a ₹1.92 crore assignment from KVS, New Delhi, for special repair and maintenance work at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Dipatoli, Ranchi. The filing classifies this work under project management consultancy.

A separate ₹0.17 crore order from KVS covers installation of a firefighting system at Kendriya Vidyalaya Kankarbagh, Patna. Both KVS-related assignments are domestic contracts.

NBCC Adds Orders Across Education And Construction Projects

The three assignments together have an aggregate value of approximately ₹28.78 crore, excluding GST. The exchange filing does not specify an execution period for the contracts.

NBCC said there is no promoter or promoter group interest in the entities awarding the contracts, based on the disclosures provided. The company also stated that the transactions do not fall under related-party transactions.
